摘 要:语境包括语言语境、情景语境和文化语境,在翻译中对译文文本的生成具有制约作用。从跨文化研究的视角对徽州楹联的文化语境进行深入分析,力求对徽州楹联的文化意象进行合理定位,探讨在汉译英翻译过程中如何准确传递其特定的民族文化意象,采取保留形象直译、保留形象加注、改换形象意译、舍弃形象意译四种翻译策略传达原作的地域文化特色,力求做到"文化传真"。Linguistic context, situational context and cultural context constitute the environment of language, which has restrictions on the formation of the text in translation. From the perspective of research on cross-culture, the author makes a further analysis on the cultural context of Huizhou couplets and tries to define the cultural images included in the text, and then explores how to deliver the specific cultural images with accuracy in Chinese-English translation. The following four strategies are implemented to convey the features of local culture in the source text and to aim at culture preservation, including reservation of the image in literal translation and with annotation as well as change and abandonment of the image in free translation.
