摘 要:澳大利亚大学的教学质量和科研能力在世界一直保持着较高的声誉,其优良的教学质量与澳大利亚从联邦政府到大学、院系、教师发展机构各个层面对教师教学质量、教学学术能力的关注密切相关。澳大利亚的教师教学发展,从其发展方式上经历了从个人到组织、从实践到战略的过程。进入21世纪,澳大利亚的教师发展面临着诸多挑战,为此,高等教育机构、专业协会与政府相互合作,共同促进大学教学教学能力的发展。Australian universities have been high ranking both in research and teaclamg quality internationally. Its excellent teaching and learning quality is closely related to the importance attached to acad- emic development of the faculties from various levels. The history of academic development in Australian universities has evolved from individuals to organizations,and from practice to strategy. In the 21st century,the academic development in Australian universities faces a lot of challenges. In such situation the Australian government and all higher education institutions ,protessional society have taken more effective measures about the academic development .
