景区标识语英译存在的问题及解决对策——以南通4A景区为例

摘　　要：随着南通旅游业的迅速发展,不少国外游客也慕名而来。但是,通过对南通市5处4A级景区英译标识语的实地取证,笔者发现,景区标识英译中存在很多问题。这不仅会给国外游客带来理解上的麻烦,而且还会影响南通这座城市的国际形象。因此,笔者通过分析南通4A景区标识语英译存在的问题及原因,提出了解决措施。以规范、文明的英语标识语言替代那些不规范、不文明、容易产生歧义的误译误识,以提升4A景区品质,全面展示南通的文明风采。With the development of tourism in Nantong, many foreign tourists are attracted to come to this city. However, according to the on-the-spot investigation of five Nantong＇s 4A level scenic spots＇ translation of signs, the author found that there existed many problems about English scenic signs. This will not only cause trouble for foreign tourists to understand the scenic spots, but also affect the international image of Nantong city. Therefore, the author analyzed the problems and reasons of the sign translation in Nantong＇s 4A scenic spots, and put forward the solving measures. It is urgent to make the sign translation standard and civilized to avoid ambiguity. The quality of tourism in Nantong will be imoroved.
