摘　　要：基于变异学的理论,追求同源中的变异,将形象学纳入变异学的研究范畴,以解决形象学的学科归属问题。在此基础上审视形象研究中被遮蔽的变异,从无法实证的社会集体想象物身上探讨异国形象变异的原因,同时揭示这种变异是误读的产物,蕴藏着深刻的文化内涵。From the perspective of Variation Theory, which seeks variation in Homology, this paper puts Imagology into the research category of Variation Theory so as to solve its disciplinary affiliation problem. Based on the examination of the variation phenomena hid- den in image studies, reasons of the alien image＇ s variation are traced back to the unempirical social collective imagination. Mean- while, this paper attempts to reveal that the variation is a product of misreading which contains profound cultural connotations.
