摘　　要：借助语料库技术,以《红楼梦》英译本为真实语料,在字词、句子和语篇三个层次上提取可量化译文文本特征,通过不同译本间的对比分析,能够以直观且量化的方式呈现评估过程。经过实证分析发现,与杨宪益译本相比,霍克斯译本为读者带来较重的阅读认知负荷,但拥有更为清晰的逻辑结构。With the help of corpus technology ,it attempted to firstly extract from two English versions of The Dream of Red Mansions some quantifiable textual features on lexical ,sentential and textual levels and then analyzed such features in a contrastive way so as to manifestly display the quantitative evaluating process of translation texts .Findings of the empirical study showed that Hawkins′translation had a clearer logical structure but ,at the same time ,would burden ordinary readers with heavier lexical cognition load .
