摘　　要：探讨《黄帝内经·素问》篇目中"论"的内涵,并例举4部代表性译著中"论"的英译。从词义和词源学角度考察英译选词"Discourse""Discussion""Treatise"和"On",认为"论"当译为"On"。This paper discusses the connotation of the character ＂lun＂ in the headings of The Yellow Emperor＇ s Classic of lnterrral Medicine-Plain Questions, summarizes its translation in 4 classic English versions. From the perspective of specific meaning and etymology＂, we still studies ＂ Discourse＂, ＂ Discussion＂, ＂Treatise＂ and ＂ On＂ respectively, and suggests that ＂on＂ would be the most suitable word for the translation of ＇＂ lun＂ in the headings.
