比较视角下中国大陆高校英语专业培养目标探讨

摘　　要：专业培养目标不仅决定专业人才培养的方向,而且也是制定培养要求、确定课程体系及实施专业教育的基础。本文通过对教育部高教司颁布的《普通高等学校本科专业目录和专业介绍(2012)》中60个外语专业的培养目标进行对比,提出了我国大陆地区高校英语专业培养目标设定需要认真思考的问题。在此基础上,文章关注了我国台湾地区、香港地区和新加坡高校英语专业的培养目标,进一步指出了我国大陆地区高校英语专业培养目标设定需要关注的重要内容。The educational objectives of a specialty determine the direction of the development of the specialty and serve as the basis of making its requirements,developing its curriculum and organising its pedagogical activities.By analyzing the objectives set by the Chinese Ministry of Education for 60 foreign language specialties in Chinese tertiary institutions,the paper raises serious questions to consider in setting appropriate objectives for the English specialty.On top of that,the paper examines the objectives of the programmes for English majors in higher institutions in Taiwan of China,Hong Kong of China and Singapore,pointing out important aspects to note in setting educational objectives for the English specialty in mainland Chinese universities.
