摘　　要：虽然爱伦·坡的哥特小说与蒲松龄的志怪小说所处的文化背景、创作时代不同,但两人人生际遇、创作体裁和恐怖鬼怪母题上都有惊人的雷同。本文概述了二人作品的可比性,并通过文化视角分析了二人作品的异同之处及其产生的文化根源,旨在深化中美文学与文化的比较研究,并拓展文学文化研究的独特路径与视角,促进两国文化的传播、增进两国文化的交流。There＇s a difference in the cultural background and the time of creating in Edgar Allan Poe＇s Gothic novels and Pu Songling＇s Chinese Supernatural tales, but many striking resemblances can be found in their life experiences, the genre and motif of their works. The paper is aimed at deepening the comparative study on Chinese and American literary and culture, expanding research perspectives and methods on them, promoting cultural communication between the two countries by comparing the similarities and differences from the cultural perspective and the cause of the similarities and differences.
