摘　　要：近些年我国高等教育实现了跨越式发展,形式日趋多样,竞争更趋激烈。自学考试遇到前所未有的冲击,其固有的"开放、灵活、投资少"等优势正逐渐丧失,生源开始萎缩。但与此同时,我国社会主义现代化建设、构建终身学习体系都呼唤高质量的自学考试。自学考试只有面向世界、面向未来、面向现代化,走内涵式发展之路,从严治教,维护自学考试这一来之不易的品牌,努力搭建终身学习的平台,才可实现可持续发展。In recent years,our country＇s higher education achieved the leap development with the diverse forms, and increasing competition. Self-study exam encountered unprecedented impact, its inherent advantages of the ＂open, flexible, and less investment＂ were losing, students resource began to shrink. But at the same time, China＇s socialist modernization construction, building a lifelong study system calls for high quality self-study exam. Self-study exam must face the world and the future,face modernization, by the way of connotative development, strictly administering, maintaining the hard-won brand, building a lifelong learning platform,can it achieve sustainable development.
