摘　　要：人类社会步入信息时代,跨地区交流与合作不断加强,语言不通成为沟通的一大障碍,机器翻译研究工作具有广泛的社会效益和经济效益。伴随我国综合国力的增强,汉语在国际社会中的使用越来越频繁,而英语是使用最广泛的国际性语言,汉英机器翻译研究工作显得尤为重要。在汉英机器翻译过程中必须处理汉英时态转换问题,否则将影响翻译的准确率和译文阅读流畅度。Human society has entered the information age, cross-regional exchanges and cooperation have been strengthened, but the language barrier is becoming obstacles to communication, machine translation research has important social value and economic value. With the growth of China＇s overall national strength, Chinese is being used more and more frequent in the international community, and English is the most popular international language, so Chinese-English machine translation research is particularly important. The Chinese-English machine translation must deal with the conversion of tense in Chinese and English, otherwise it will affect the accuracy and the reading fluency of translation.
