摘　　要：食管癌相关基因4(ECRG4/C2ORF40)被认为是一种与预后相关的候选抑癌基因,它在多种肿瘤中都有涉及,包括食管鳞状细胞瘤、前列腺癌、乳腺癌、结直肠癌以及神经胶质瘤。其启动子的高甲基化可能是该基因表达下调的主要原因。因此恢复ECRG4在肿瘤中的表达有可能成为肿瘤治疗的一种新的有效途径。Esophageal cancer-related gene 4 （ECRG4/C2ORF40） has been described as a potential tumor suppressor gene （TSG） associated with prognosis, prognostication and better survival in several cancers including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer and glioma. Promoter hypermethylation may be the main mechanism of this gene expression down regulated. And restoring ECRG4 expression in the tumor may represent a promising therapeutic approach.
