摘　　要：本文从日本的教育改革和学校信息化的进展、信息教育的实况、信息教育的地位及措施、政府的学校图书馆政策、学校图书馆的信息化进展等方面论述了日本学校信息教育的现状及学校图书馆在信息教育中的地位、作用和对策。本文主要观点是,学校的信息教育的重点在于培养学生“信息综合利用能力”,学校图书馆的主要任务就是紧紧围绕这一重点,充实其适应高度信息化社会的学习信息中心的机能,充分发挥其在学校信息教育中的主导作用。This article mainly deals with the present situation of IT education and the fole of school li- braries in Japan which covers the following aspects:the education reform,the information development, the role of IT education,government policies on school libraries and the information development of school libraries.We come to the conclusion that the main task of IT education is to help students develop the “comprehensive ability of utilizing information”and school libraries,acting as important information cen- ters for learners,should play a leading role.
