摘　　要：协优 5 5 9在 1999～ 2 0 0 0年的省区试中均表现出高产、抗病、适应范围广等特点。与汕优 6 3相比具有 :每穗总粒数多 ,结实率高 ,但有效穗少 ,千粒重低。因此在栽培上应注重采用培育壮秧、合理密植等方法 ,以增加有效穗和千粒重 ,从而使其达到高产。Xieyou 559 has showed high yield and strong resistance to diseases, widely adaptation in the Provincial Regional Test for two years. Compared with Shanyou 63, it had many more spikes per panicle and higher rate of seed setting, but the number of effective panicle and the weight of 1000 grains were reduced. In cultivation, more attentions must be paid to breeding of strong seedling and appropriate planting density, so that the number of effective panicles and the weight of 1000 grain would be increased for high-yield.
