摘　　要：在英语诗歌中 ,最严谨、最富有挑战性的抒情诗是十四行诗。一首好诗 ,主题、意境固然重要 ,但没有其他方面的配合也是不尽完美的。诗只有在形式和内容上真正达到统一 ,才能充分展现其魅力。作者意在讨论英语十四行诗的结构。Sonnets are the most rigorous and challenging lyrics in the English poems.Even with a good theme and thoughtfulness,a poem will be imperfect without the coherence between the structure and the meaning.A poem can attract the readers only when it expresses its meaning in a proper form.This article is to discuss the relation between the rhyming scheme and the structure and the meaning of the English sonnets.
