摘　　要：本文论述了外语电教与外语教学的地位、作用及相互间的关系 ,认为外语电教要想求得生存与发展 ,必须勇于冲破旧的模式。而外语教学要想适应现代教育的要求 ,就必须充分有效地利用现代化的教学手段。外语电教与外语教学密不可分。This paper discusses the position,function and relationship of audio\|visual teaching and foreign languages teaching. In order to keep existing and improving audio\|visual teaching must break through out\|of\|date models.Meanwhile modern teaching means should be adopted fully and efficiently in foreign languages teaching to make it meet the demand of current education.Audio\|visual teaching and foreign languages teaching ought to combine tightly and successfully.
