摘  要:In this paper, the two phase miscible displacement with the diffusion coefficient being a positive definite matrix is considered. Central difference scheme for the pressure equation is given. Overcoming the essential difficulties encountered by the usual modified upwind difference scheme by using the splitting of matrix, the modified upwind difference scheme for the concentration equation is given. Error estimate is provided.In this paper, the two phase miscible displacement with the diffusion coefficient being a positive definite matrix is considered.
