摘　　要：新时期大学生爱国主义教育的重点 ,在于结合时代特征和历史经验教训深入分析爱国主义的本质特征 ,纠正学生的认识偏差 ;要紧扣新时期爱国主义的主题 ,激发广大学生献身于建设有中国特色社会主义的热情 ;要引导学生认准当前爱国主义实践的必由之路 。Focal points of patriotic education for university students in the new stage are:to combine characteristics of times with historical experience to make a deep analysis of the essential traits of patriotism and correct students' deviation in their knowledge;to guide students in recognizing the only way of the present patriotic practice to take an active part in the reforms and opening up;to be identical to the theme of patriotism in the new stage to arouse students in devoting themselves to our country's socialist construction with Chinese characteristic.
