摘　　要：本文论证了把网络课教学作为大学英语教学外延的可行性,并简述了网络课教学的特点及现状,以及结合现代教育技术手段构筑大学英语多媒体、网络教学模式的必要性.The paper explains the possibility of network teaching as an extension of college English teaching, and the character and actuality of network teaching in higher educational institutes in China, and the essential of constructing a model of multimedia and network teaching of college English by modern education technical approach.
