摘  要:"教育现代化"理论是顾明远教授对中国教育理论的重要贡献之一。他把教育现代化看作是由传统教育向现代教育转变的过程,并根据教育自身的发展规律和时代要求提出了现代教育的八大特征。随着研究的进一步深入,顾明远教授转向思考影响教育现代化进程的因素,把民族文化传统与教育现代化密切联系起来,对教育现代化问题进行文化研究,发展和完善了他的"教育现代化"理论。'Modernization of education' is an important theoretical contribution of Professor Gu Mingyuan to education research in China. Professor Gu considers modernization of education as a gradual change from traditional education to modern education, and extracts eight features of modern education based on the law of education and the needs of the times. As his research progresses, he begins to examine the factors that affect the process of education modernization, urges that education modernization should be combined with traditional national culture and that education modernization should be studied from a cultural perspective, thus further improving his theory about education modernization.
