摘　　要："语言学概论"是英语专业高年级必修课。该课程具有较强的理论性和学术性,在教与学中教师和学生普遍都感到困难。通过改变教学理念以及进行教学方法改革,做到理论与实践相结合,融理论教学于实践之中,不但能够降低该课程的学习难度,同时还能在一定程度上活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的学习积极性,达到良好的教学效果。Introduction to Linguistics is a required course for the English majors. Since it is a theoretical and academic course, both the teachers and students may meet a lot of difficulties in teaching and learning. By changing the idea of teaching and reforming the method of teaching, practice can be introduced into the teaching of the course. Thus, the difficulty of teaching and learning may be lowered, and meanwhile, the class can become active. Consequently, a positive teaching result can be achieved.
