摘  要:"中国社会转型"是开始于100多年前并已跨越三个世纪的老命题,这一命题历程漫长、道路曲折,往复循环而未得要领,"转(zhuǎn,上声)型"成了"转(zhuàn,去声)型"。社会转型也是当代中国的主题,这一主题的深化不应孤注于"四个现代化建设"之经济指标与器物层面,更应观照文化价值和制度安排。社会转型更是当今中国社会深层次的问题,这一问题万难全仗GDP主义崇拜和经济体制转轨就能解决,还必须通过教育与人的现代化——即"第五个现代化",实现国人心理基因的革新及其思想、心性的转型。惟其如此,才能有望走出"社会转(zhuàn)型"的循环怪圈,实现"社会转(zhuǎn)型"的历史使命。"Social transformation in China" was started a hundred years ago and has become an old proposition across three centuries, which twisted and turned, however without grasping the essentials. As a result, social transformation is becoming social turning. Social transformation is also is the theme of the contemporary China, which can be deepened not just depending upon the "four modernization" characterized with economic indicators & implements level, but cultural value and system arrangement. Social transformation is the deeper issues of today's Chinese society, which cannot be solved just for GDP worship & socialist economic system transition, and also through education and modernization, namely "the fifth modernization", to realize the innovation of the Chinese psychological gene and transformation of the thought & mind. Only then can we walk out of the "social turning" circulation cycle, and achieve the historical mission of "social transformation" .
