摘　　要：本文本着以学生为主体的教学理念,通过分析学生学习被动性特点,从教学资源、教学方法、教学组织等方面着手分析机械类专业英语教学模式改革步骤,并提出一种基于VB的计算机辅助教学软件,通过在教学过程中的应用,显著提高了学生学习的积极性,为专业英语课程环节设计的顺利实施提供了保障。Based on the teaching philosophy of taking students as the main body, this paper analyzed the teaching mode reform steps of mechanical engineering English through the characteris-tics of the students＇ learning passivity, the teaching resources, the teaching methods, and teaching organization aspects, then pro-posed a kind of computer-aided teaching software using the software VB,it was proved to improve students＇ motivation to learn through the application in the teaching process,and the teaching effect was remarkable.
