摘 要:近年来,由于经济全球化的发展趋势,当前社会对英语专业学生的需求已从纯英语语言文学知识向英语专业通用型人才转变。这一结果导致英语专业教学培养目标也正在从单一的纯语言教学转向以培养通用型人才为基础,着重培养学生的跨文化交际能力,思维能力和创新能力。因此,基于当前新的教学趋势,本文与传统的英语阅读课程教学策略进行对比,借鉴国外相关的阅读教学策略,重新思考了英语阅读教学在新的培养目标下所扮演的角色和英语专业阅读课程教学策略的可行性和有效性。In recent years, since the need from our society for the English major students who just obtain mere language ability is less and less, and the aim of the pedagogy for English majors has been on adjustment. It is required to switch from 'the mere and compound- oriented talents cultivating mode. tive reading pedagogical strategies in the second language teaching mode to the application -oriented Based on this new mode and enlightened by the relalanguage acquisition, this paper discussed the pedagogi cal strategies of the reading course for English Majors. In addition, new roles played by the reading course of English Majors were reconsidered and the limitations of the traditional reading pedagogical strategies were mentioned to help to explore the feasible and valid pedagogical strategies for the reading course.
