摘  要:当前,大学英语翻译教学存在着许多问题,主要表现在教学体系不完整、教师理论素养欠缺和学生翻译能力不足等方面。更好地开展大学英语翻译教学,不仅要对翻译教学大纲、翻译课程设计、教材内容进行必要的改革,加强对大学英语教师翻译技能的培训工作之外,教师还应该从语言能力、语篇能力、文化能力和转换能力几个方面教会学生翻译的技巧,有效提高学生的翻译能力。Currently, in the translation teaching strategy of college English, there still exist many problems mainly like the incomplete teaching system, teachers' lack of the theoretical knowledge and students' shortage of translation ability. To better carry out the teaching of college English translation, we should not only reform the translation teaching syllabus, the translation course design and the textbooks, and strengthen the training of the translation skills of college English teachers, but also require that the teachers should teach students the translation skills in terms of language skills, discourse competence, cultural competence and conversion capacity so as to effectively improve students' translation ability.
