摘 要:林语堂的翻译改写策略得到了目的语读者的广泛接受,使一系列中国文学文化作品走进西方文化。他的原文文本选择别具匠心,指向了一系列倡导性灵、闲适、幽默的中国文史哲作品,同时采用了翻译改写策略,满足了目的语的读者期待,其译本一再登上西方主流媒体畅销书的榜单。林语堂介绍中国文化的成功经验告诉我们:在当下为促进中国文化走向世界,首先要选择适合"走出去"的文本;其次要突破传统翻译观对忠实对等的过分强调,采用形式上归化与文化上异化相结合的翻译策略。Lin Yutang' s strategy of adapted translation was widely accepted by the readers ot target tanguage, and thus a series of works about Chinese literature and culture step into western culture. He selected the original books with ingenuity, and then introduced a series of works about Chinese literature, history, and philosophy with the expectation of the readers of target language, and his translated books were again and again listed as the best - sellers in mainstream medias in the west world. Lin Yutang' s successful experience in introducing Chinese culture tells us that in order to make Chinese culture going out to the world currently we should first choose the texts suitable to "going out", then break through the traditional view about translation which overemphasizes faithfulness and equality, and adopt the translation strategy combining formal alienation and cultural domestication.
