摘　　要："字意"指字形中体现出的原始造字意图,具有具体性、主观性、宽泛性等特点。"字义"是字形所记录的词的意义。许慎在《说文》的说解中,既有字意的说解,也有词义的说解,字意与词义的关系可以归纳为十种类型。辨析字意和词义两个概念,对于训诂实践有重要的意义。The Meaning of a word, which reflects the original intention for the character-creation, has the characteristics of concretion, subjectivity, broad and so on. Zi yi（字义） is the meaning of the recorded word. The explanation in Shuowen（说文）by Xu-Shen, is the explanation on Zi yi（字意）, and also the solution for lexieal meanings. The relationship between Zi yi（字意,）, and lexical Zi yi（字意）,and lexical meanings have important significance for the practice of exegetical studies.
