摘　　要：针对机械设计基础课程教学内容繁多与课时偏少之间的矛盾,结合独立学院人才培养目标,提出了加强绪论课讲授,采用启发式、互动式教学,充分运用多媒体技术,做好归纳总结,合理运用对比法等教学手段,对机械设计基础教学方法进行探讨,激发学生的主动性和积极性,提高教学效果和教学质量。Aiming at the contradiction between the more teaching contents of basis of mechanical design and the less class time, and meanwhile combined with the talents training objective, the teaching methods were discussed by putting forward some effective means as following： strengthening the introduction class, using the heuristic and interactive teaching, fully using the multimedia technology, summing up and summarizing well, using contrast method reasonably and so on. The students＇ initiative and enthusiasm were stimulated. And the teaching effects and teaching quality have been improved.
