摘　　要：针对传统双边滤波不能较好保持边缘特征以及不易于硬件实现这一现状,文章提出一种新的改进的双边滤波算法。该算法加入了基于相似性判断的补偿函数,有效保持了边缘;对指数函数采用Thiele型连分式逼近,更易于硬件的实现。经实验,该算法在主观评价和客观质量上均取得了较好的效果。T raditional bilateral filter can not preserve the edge feature of the images and it is not easy to be realized by hardware .To solve these problems ,an improved bilateral filtering algorithm is put for-ward .A compensation function based on similarity judgment is introduced in the algorithm to preserve the edge feature effectively and the Thiele’s continued fraction is used to approximate the exponential function so that the algorithm can be better implemented in hardware .The experimental results show that the adaptive bilateral filter is superior to traditional bilateral filter or other modified bilateral fil-ters in both subjective and objective evaluations .
