摘　　要：ARCS学习动机模型是由美国佛罗里达州立大学的约翰·M·凯勒教授提出的,该模型关注的是如何通过教学设计来调动学生的学习动机,ARCS分别代表注意(Attention)、关联(Relevance)、信心(Confidence)和满意(Satisfaction)。基于ARCS学习动机模型的信息检索课程教学可以激发学生的学习动机,调动学生的积极性,通过各种动机激励方式提高学生的自信心和检索能力,从而提高信息检索课程的教学效果。ARCS motivation model was proposed by Professor John M Keller, Florida State University. This model concerns how to mobilize the students＇ motivation through instructional design, ARCS represents Attention, Relevance, Confidence and Satisfaction. Based on ARCS motivation model information retrieval curriculum can stimulate students＇ study motivation and mobilize the enthusiasm. Through a variety of incentive motivations to improve students＇ self-confidence and retrieval capabilities, the teaching effectiveness of information retrieval courses will be improved.
