英语专业内容依托课程体系改革的影响及其启示

摘　　要：针对我国高校英语专业教育对人文素养重视不够、教学内容缺乏特色、专业课程单一、教学效果欠佳等问题,大连外国语大学历时七年,比较系统地开展了内容依托课程体系改革的探索。本文介绍了这项改革的指导性理念及构建的内容依托课程体系,展示了课程体系改革对学生培养、师资发展、教学管理产生的影响,总结了内容依托课程体系改革问题的应对措施,指出了对我国高校开展英语专业建设的启示。To cope with the inadequate humanistic education,lack of distinctive contents in teaching,flaws of the skilloriented national curriculum and inefficient education of English majors in mainland Chinese tertiary institutions,a systematic content-based curriculum reform for English majors has been carried out at Dalian University of Foreign Languages for 7 years. This paper introduces the philosophy of the reform and the contents on which the curriculum is based,and then reports the impacts of this reform on the education of English majors,development of faculty,and the administration of the institution. It presents coping strategies for the problems in the reform and points out some implications for the development of teaching programs for English majors in Chinese tertiary institutions.
