摘  要:技术创新模式的选择对企业发展至关重要。基于管家理论从大股东与经理人间信任的角度给出企业不同技术创新模式选择的解释。认为给予经理人足够的信任,能使其发挥主动性能动性去创新,以应对激烈的市场变化,从而实现股东利益最大化。结合现有信任和技术创新选择文献,考察大股东对经理人的两种不同信任方式(情感型信任和认知型信任)在经理人创新动力调节下对企业技术创新模式选择的影响。研究得出:(1)大股东与经理人间的情感信任与突变创新选择呈倒U型关系;(2)大股东与经理人间的认知型信任促进渐进创新的选择;(3)经理人创新动力正向调节认知信任和渐进创新之间关系。Why do firms choose different technological innovation modes? Based on stewardship theory this study proposes an interpretation for the relationship between the large shareholder-manager trust and the choice of technological innovation mode. The main argument in this paper is that a certain level of trust in the large shareholder-manager relation will encourage managers to proactively employ innovation to rapidly respond to market changes, and thereby maximize incomes of the shareholders. Specifically, by integrating literature on organizational trust and technological innovation, we test the effects of two types of trust between large shareholders and managers, affect-based and cognition-based trust, on the choice of technological innovation mode. We also take the moderating effect of managers' innovative motivation on these above relationships. By using 174 Chinese firm sampies, we find that there is an inverted U relationship between affect-based trust and the choice of radical innovation. The cognitive-based trust facilitates the choice of incremental innovation. This relationship moderated by manager's innovative motivation
