摘　　要："莲湘舞"活动起源于明清年间,是我国著名的民族民间传统体育文化项目,具有动作简单、音乐伴奏通俗易懂、表演形式灵活多样、服饰民俗气息浓郁等主要特点。因而同时具有鲜明的民间化、大众化、可全方位开展等教育特色和有效继承民族优秀传统文化、健身强体、实现心理调节、增强民族精神和凝聚力、优化群众闲暇生活等教育功能,对社会主义新农村文化建设具有积极的现实意义。Originating in the time of the Ming and Qing dynasties, Lianxiang Dance is a famous traditional ethnic folk sport characterized with simple movements, popular music, flexible performing forms and folk-styled clothes. At the same time, it has both educational characteristics as a popular folk activity which can be carried out at a full range and educational functions such as inheriting ethnic excellent traditional culture, building up body, making mental adjustment, enhancing ethnic spirit and cohesion, and enriching local people＇s leisure life.
