摘 要:读者对语篇意义的理解需借助于词汇推理策略,词汇推理策略的有效使用还依赖词汇重复模式理论的指导。词汇重复是建构语篇语义链的主要词汇衔接手段,因其对语篇意义理解和读者词汇知识发展的重要作用得到了国内外研究者的关注。本文在阐述词汇重复模式理论的基础上,着重分析了读者语篇阅读过程中使用的基于语境线索的词汇推理策略,并对词汇重复模式理论与语篇语境线索相结合的词汇推理策略进行了剖析,以期为阅读以及词汇教学提供可资借鉴的启示。Readers' comprehension of textual meaning draws on the lexical inferencing strategies, and the effective use of which is under the guidance of the theory of lexical repetition pattern. Lexical repetition is the major means of lexical cohesion to construct semantic links. Because of the significant role played in the comprehension of textu- al meaning and the development of readers' lexical knowledge, lexical repetition has received adequate attention from researchers both at home and abroad. Based on the elaboration of the theory of lexical repetition pattern, this paper analyzes the contextual-based lexical inferencing strategies the readers used during discourse comprehension, and it goes on to dissect the lexical inferencing strategies that incorporate both the theory of lexical repetition pattern and contextual clues of the text. It is hoped that the discussion can offer insight to the teaching of reading compre- hension and vocabulary.
