摘 要:甘孜藏族自治州拥有得天独厚的国家级甚至世界级的旅游资源,旅游业已成为甘孜州经济发展的支柱性产业。然而,甘孜州旅游景区的对外翻译宣传还存在诸多问题,旅游景点名称的英语翻译问题尤为突出,比如,拼写错误、一地多名、词不达意、拼写过时、文化缺省等。为了解决这些景点名称的翻译问题,必须重新规范统一景点的英译名称、有机地把音译、意译、转写三者相结合、彰显康巴文化特色、注重实地调研考察等,以期发挥英译景点名称对外宣传的积极功能。Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is so abundant in famous tourist resources that tourism has become the mainstay of the Garze economy. However, there exist numerous problems with English translations of the names of scenic attractions, such as wrong or obsolete spellings, a place with several English names, inaccurate semantic expressions, cultural misinformation, and so on. Hence, it is advocated that names of tourist attractions should be standardized, that transliteration, liberal translation, and Tibetan transcription be integrated, that on-the-spot visits be conducted, and that Khampa Culture be highlighted, possible. so as to positively publicize tourist attractions as much as possible.
