摘　　要：思辨缺席严重制约了学生英语综合应用能力的提高,成为实现大学英语教学目标的巨大障碍。在大学英语教学中,教师应更新教育教学理念,把培养学生的创新能力和思辨能力放在前位,调整课程设置,改革教学方法和考核评价体系,强调发散的、导向的思维,注重培养学生的思维能力。Lack of critical thinking ability seriously restricts the improvement of students＇ English comprehensive application ability, which has become a great obstacle to realize the objective of college English teaching. In college English teaching, teachers should renew the educational and teaching ideas, give top priority to cultivating students＇ innovative and critical thinking abilities, adjust the classroom setting, reform the teaching method and evaluation system, emphasize divergent and oriented thinking and pay attention to the cultivation of students＇ thinking ability.
