摘 要:用传统美德伦理思想观照日益严峻的环境问题,形成别具理论特色的环境美德伦理是当前美德伦理学与环境哲学研究的重要潮流。尽管如此,环境美德伦理自身也遭到了规范的效用性、限制的正当性等方面的质疑与挑战。而如果我们深入分析传统美德伦理产生的基本前提、逻辑思路与目的归宿,就会发现这些挑战并不能真正威胁环境美德伦理的整体性论证。相反,面对当代严峻的环境问题,具有系统性思维、稳定性特征的环境美德伦理更有理论一致性和现实效用性的优势。Viewing the increasingly serious environmental problems in light of traditional virtue ethics and thereafter forming a unique theory of environmental virtue ethics(EVE) has become the trend for modem virtue ethicists and environmental philosophy. Despite the tendency, it also meets with doubts and challenges as far as effectiveness of normalization and legitimacy of restriction are concerned. However a deeper analysis of traditional virtue ethics in terms of its background logic and ultimate goal reveals that the systematicity of EVE has not been threatened. On the contrary, characterized as systematic and stable, it has advantages in theoretical consistency and practical efficiency.
