摘  要:为了了解社会心理因素对少数民族大学生英语交际意愿的协变影响,对浙江省三所高校面向中西部录取的非英语专业少数民族大学生进行了调查。结果表明:被调查者的交际意愿的强烈程度受诸多因素的共同影响,其中以态度/动机影响最为显著;总体上,被研究对象的自我评价较低,英语交际意愿偏弱;在被调查者中起步较早的英语学习者与起步较晚的英语学习者在交际意愿方面存在显著差异;被研究者课堂内的交际意愿强于课堂外。长期负面的英语学习经历导致少数民族学生英语交际的低自信,并逐步形成个性特征。To explore the effects of social-psychological factors on minority college students’willingness to communicate (WTC)in English,an investigation is conducted in 3 universities in Zhejiang among minority students recruited from Midwest China. The results indicate: the students’willingness to communicate(WTC) in English is influenced by kinds of variables,of which the effect of attitude/motivation is the most significant;their self-perceived communicative competence (SPCC)and WTC are generally low;their WTC in classroom communicative settings is higher than in out-of-class settings;marked difference exist in their WTC in English between those started to learn the language early and those started late; long and negative English learning experience may result in their trait-like lack of confidence and WTC in classroom settings.
