摘　　要：高职高专英语技能大赛是培养学生英语应用能力的舞台,是培养学生综合职业能力发展的推力,是培养学生职业道德的训练场,是培养学生关键能力和职业流动能力的重要手段和途径。在此,旨在通过研究高职英语技能大赛对高职学生的关键能力培养的促进作用,来重新建构高职英语的教学目标和教学方式,提高高职英语教学的有效性。Higher vocational college English skills competition is the stage to cultivate students＇ English application ability. It is to cultivate students＇ comprehensive professional ability development, cultivate students＇ professional ethics, and is the important means to cultivate students＇ key ability and vocational ability. Through the research of promotion function of higher vocational English skills competition for training vocational students＇ key ability; it rebuilds the teaching objective and teaching mode of higher vocational English, to improve the effectiveness of the higher vocational English teaching.
