文化融合过程中的译者主体性和可译性限度

摘　　要：作为一项涉及语言、文化、民族、地域的复杂活动,翻译过程涉及诸多因素,文化可译性限度问题在翻译理论中饱受争论。文化差异确实阻碍着民族、地域间的跨文化交际,但由此产生的不可译并非一成不变,文化融合背景下的可译性限度正逐步缩小。译者作为翻译过程的重要参与者,更应在翻译过程中适度发挥其主观能动性,通过"再造文化"实现"翻译文化"。文中详细阐述了文化融合过程中译者主体性对于文化翻译的重要性,实例论证了可译性限度缩小趋势,以期拓宽和深化研究文化可译性。Translation is a complex activity concerning many factors such as language, culture, nationality and geographical environment. Translatability is a controversial issue in translation theories. Cultural dif-ferences obstruct cross-cultural communication and result in untranslatability to some extent. But un-translatability is not absolute. With the development of intercultural communication, the limit of trans-latability is cutting shorter and shorter. As an important participant in the practice of translation, the translator should play an important role. This paper discusses the importance of translator＇s subjectivity from the perspective of cultural convergence and illustrates the limit of translatability is getting smaller in attempt to further research on translatability.
