摘　　要：随着国际学术交流的不断深入,中外学术相互借鉴的成分越来越多,使得学术写作能力的重要性得到不断地凸显。如何能够有效地提高大学生的学术写作能力以及如何评价这种能力成为当今学术英语教学研究亟待解决的问题。本文以学术英语写作的重要性为切入点,讨论高校学术英语写作能力的构成,进而提出学术英语写作能力的评价建议,为我国的学术英语写作教学与评价体系建构提供建议与参考。With the development of international academic communication, more and more academic exchanges take place between Chi- na and the rest of the world, the fact of which highlights the importance of the development of academic English writing compe- tence. It is a major task confronting the college English teaching profession to find out the best ways of improving college students＇ academic writing competence in English and coming up with effective approaches to its assessing. This paper takes the importance of academic writing competence as the point of departure and discusses the major issues that lead to the possible solu- tions for a systematic assessment of academic writing competence and teaching thereof. Major aspects of such an assessment sys- tem are proposed for further elaborations.
