摘　　要：从技术的角度讨论程石泉先生的《论语》英译本。作为哲学家的程石泉先生具有英译《论语》的独到优势，并通过翔实译例，表明程译本具有文字考订细致、义理诠释新颖、翻译风格灵活等特色。同时，指出程译有诠释过度、译笔粗疏等问题和缺陷。This paper is devoted to the discussion of Shih-chuan Chen＇ s English translation of the Lunyu from a technical perspective. The author holds that as a philosopher, Chen has a unique advantage in undertaking the translation work. Through concrete examples, it is demonstrated that Chen＇ s translation has the characteristics of meticulous exegesis, origi- nal expatiation and flexible translating style. Meanwhile, however, Chen＇ s translation also has some defects such as exces- sive explication and inaccuracy.
