摘　　要：语言学习者的语用能力是成功进行跨文化交际的关键。作者针对英语学习者在口语交际,英文写作及英汉翻译方面出现的语用失误现象进行了分析,并指出英语教学中培养学生语用能力的策略。Language learners# pragmatic competence is the key to successful cross-cultural communication. The author analyzes learners# pragmatic failure in the aspects of oral communication, English writing and English to Chinese or Chinese to English translation. Strategies to develop learners# pragmatic competence are dealt with in the last part.
