摘 要:20世纪40年代,沈从文的美学思想丰富复杂,可大致划分为前后两个时期,并呈现出一个明显的转型过程。前期(1938~1946),他以小说、散文等哲理意味和象征色彩浓厚的文本进行“抽象的抒情”,致力于生命形而上、非功利性的思考,表达对“生命”、“美”、“爱”的独特理解与终极追问;后期(1946~1949),他则依凭杂论、政论等形式展现积极介入社会的姿态,倡导民族国家、文学运动与社会政治的重造,传达出功利性的现实诉求。这种转型折射出特定历史阶段作家复杂矛盾的文化心理。In the 1940s, SHEN Cong- wen's aesthetic thought is rich and complicated. It can be roughly divided into two peri- ods and shows an obvious process of transformation. In the early period ( 1938 ~ 1946 ) , he utilized novels, prose with dense philosophical meaning and symbolic color to express his emotion in an abstract way, dedicating himself to reflecting “life” in metaphysical and non- utilitarian way,and expressed his unique insight and ultimate questioning about “ life” ,“ beauty”, “ love” ; in the later period( 1946 ~ 1949), he showed an actively attitude to involves in society by means of essays and political commentary, advocating the reconstruction of nation, literature, politics and conveying the utilitarian demand. This transforma- tion reflects the writer's complex and contradictory mentality in specific historical stage.
