摘　　要："不可靠叙述"是当今西方叙事学最热门、最具争议的概念之一,其中主要分为修辞方法和认知(建构)两种研究方法,将在修辞方法理论的视域下来分析华裔美国女作家汤亭亭的代表作《女勇士》"无名女子"这章中的不可靠叙述以及不可靠叙述的三大功用:形象刻画、主题体现、美学价值。Unreliable narration is one of the hottest and the most controversial concepts in modern narratology,about which there are two researching approaches： cognitive approach and rhetorical approach. This paper employs the latter. Through the analysis of the first chapter in the novel The Woman Warrior written by Chinese American writer Maxine Hong Kingston,the paper illustrates the cases of the unreliable narration and the three functions of it： picturing round characters,conveying the far- reaching theme of the work and creating the aesthetic effect.
