摘　　要：英语信用证具有商务文体和法律文体的双重特征。文章借助实例,从词汇、句法两个层面探讨了英语信用证的文体特征及其翻译,提出了严谨规范和客观公正两条翻译原则。This article explores, by way of examples, the lexical and syntactic features of English letters of credit and the strategies for translating them into Chinese. It is argued that precision and objectiveness should be upheld as the principles for translating letters of credit.
