摘　　要：《边城》是湘籍作家沈从文先生享誉国内外的一部经典小说。2005年,美国汉学家金介甫将《边城》重新进行了英译工作。为了给《边城》英文译作研究注入新鲜血液,从阐释翻译观角度对金介甫的《边城》英译本进行了初步分析与研究,并找出其中的优缺点,这也是对沈从文研究的有益补充。Biancheng is a world-famous novel written by Shen Congwen, who was born in Hunan Province. It was retranslated into English by the world-famous American sinologist, Jeffrey Kinkley. Through Steiner＇s four steps of translation based on hermeneutic translation theory, Kinkley＇s Border Town will be analyzed and studied, which concludes the strength and weakness of the English version. It not only provides new content for the study of English versions of Biancheng but also offers the compensation of the research of Shen Congwen.
