摘　　要："听"是最重要的一种语言技能。英语学习者如何选择合适的自主学习听力语料是能否成功提高英语听力的关键因素之一。在浩瀚如烟的信息中,英语学习者应遵循难易适度原则、多多益善原则、多样性原则及精听和泛听相结合的原则,才能快而准地找到自己需要且适合自己的英语听力自主学习语料,有效提高英语听力能力。Listening is the most important language skill. It is one of the key factors for the English language learners to select the appropriate listening materials in their autonomous learning to improve their listening ability successfully. In their selection among the numerous listening materials, the English language learners should follow the four guiding principles： the Principle of Appropriate Difficulty, the Principle of Large Quantity, the Principle of Variety and the Principle of Combination of Intensive and Extensive Listening. Only under these conditions, can the English language learners obtain the right listening materials quickly.
