中等职业教育对农民工收入的影响——基于珠三角和长三角农民工的调查

摘　　要：职业教育被认为是解决劳动力市场熟练工短缺、适应经济社会发展的有效途径。本文以珠三角、长三角农民工调查数据为基础,对农民工群体的中等职业教育收入回报进行了研究。结果表明:总体而言,中等职业教育的收入回报率低于平均教育回报率,虽然中等职业教育组相对于初中组有着更高的收入,却低于普通高中组;在初次就业时,中等职业教育组的收入要高于初中组,但随着工作转换,中等职业教育组相对于初中组的优势逐步体现出来;无论是在初次就业还是在职业发展时期,中等职业教育组的收入均低于普通高中组。This paper based on a survey of Rural Migrant workers in the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta examined the relationship between Migrant workers' educational(and other) backgrounds and their income.There are five main findings.(1) Overall,the income returns to secondary vocational education below the average rate of return on education.(2) The income of vocation high school graduates are higher than junior high school graduates but less than ordinary high school graduates.(3)The income of vocation high school graduates are higher than junior high school graduates but no statistically significant in the first job Subsample.(4)However,in the present job Subsample,Secondary vocation high school graduates income was significantly higher than junior high school graduates.(5) Whether the first job Subsample,or current occupation subsample,general education does lead to better performance than vocational education.In the end of this paper,we believe that the quality of vocational education is more important than size,therefore,we should be committed to improving the quality of vocational education.
