摘　　要：福克纳塑造的乔安娜具有南方人的典型特征。在历史变革时期,该人物既是旧传统的维护者,又是新生活的尝试者,具有双重角色。人物塑造本身也反映了福克纳自己作为南方人的复杂心理。The character Joanna who is modeled by William Faulkner has the typical features of the Southern people. In the period of historical revolution, the character plays a dual role of a protector of the old traditions and a forerunner of new life. The modeled character actually reflects Faulkner＇s complex feelings as a Southerner.
