记者招待会汉英口译中不定量词的应用研究

摘　　要：本文基于汉英会议口译语料库CECIC3.0版,分析了汉英会议口译中英语主要不定量词应用的频率及其特征。研究表明:1就不定量词的应用频率而言,记者招待会汉英口译语料显著高于政府工作报告英译语料。2在记者招待会汉英口译英译语料和政府工作报告英译语料中,英语不定量词与汉语原文的"对应"趋势均最为显著,但前者的"显化"、"强化"和"弱化"趋势均比后者显著。这些特征形成的原因主要表现为两方面:其一,记者招待会的汉语原文中不定量词的应用频率相当高,并高于政府工作报告的汉语原文;其二,记者招待会汉英口译的解释程度和译员主观介入的程度均高于政府工作报告英译。解释程度或译员的介入程度越高,显化、强化和弱化程度便越显著。Based on the use of the Chinese-English Conference Interpreting Corpus,this paper investigates the use of English indefinite quantifiers in Chinese-English conference interpreting. The results of the investigation show that 1）English indefinite quantifiers occur with a higher frequency in the interpreted English texts of Chinese-English conference interpreting than in the translated texts of the work report of the Chinese government. 2） In terms of the relationship between English indefinite quantifiers and their Chinese source texts,the tendency towards correspondence is most notable in both the interpreted texts and the translated texts,but the tendencies towards explicitation,weakening and strengthening are greater in the interpreted texts than in the translated texts. It is argued that these features in the use of English indefinite quantifiers are attributable to the following factors： 1） Chinese indefinite quantifiers occur with a higher frequency in the Chinese source texts of Chinese-English conference interpreting than in the work reports of the Chinese government. 2） The interpreters engaged in the Chinese-English conference interpreting tend to adopt interpretive translation more often and to be more involved in interpreting than the translators of the work reports of the Chinese government. The more interpretive a translation is,or the more involved a translator is,the more notable the tendency towards explicitation,weakening or strengthening is.
